LIVESTOCK MANURE MANAGEMENT

Livestock manure management

While improper handling of livestock manure can create malodorous and environmental issues, manure is a sustainable form of organic matter, which can be returned to agricultural land for soil improvement if it is properly handled. With proper manure management, the manure can be processed as either solid manure that is sent to composting facilities, solid fertilizer resulting from solid-liquid separation of manure, or liquid slurry manure that is stowed in storage tanks.

At APAC Trade, we focus on liquid slurry manure management and how it can be processed effectively to maximize the organic matter yield that is returned to the soil. In order to properly process the liquid slurry, we recommend using TRIUNE – a natural slurry stabilizer added to manure lagoons.

Benefits of TRIUNE

Reduction of ammonia odor

Dissolve crust and hard sediment in lagoon

Preserve nutrients, improve soil and more harvesting crop
